You have every right to be concerned for his safety. You are his mom and you love him dearly. One of my sons is a police officer and the other an EMT first responder. I worry about them too, but they are doing what they love doing. I pray everyday for their safety and I will keep your son in my prayers too.The world needs sons like ours, but it makes it hard on us moms. Be proud of him, but don't blame yourself for being a bit afraid. I think it is normal.
