To add salt to the wound....months after this happen I discovered through a social network site (she posted her profile) that she didn't have a license and I was one of her first clients she took on. She was a recent recipient of a Master's Degree. So in addition to not having much time in the field, she didn't have much time on earth either...both of which were not disclosed to be prior to me starting treatment. I went back to the highly respected licensed professional who referred her to me and asked why he would refer me to an unlicensed person with no experience. He told me he made a judgement call. He felt she was such an exceptional therapist and any blind spots she may had he would mentor her on. Well his "mentoring" only took place for the 1st year...then she deceided to practice on her own out of her home. So the last two years she practiced under the title of "life Coach" telling me it was because she wasn't working within a non-profit...and I bought the story she was selling. I have come to learn Life Coaches are not regulated in the state I live in. I believe in my heart that is the reason she changed her designation from counselor to Life Coach to Holistic Pyschotherapist where she is now. I have filed a formal complaint against her and the person who referred her to me who does have a license.

Yes, I am certain she has re-invented herself. I've seen her new website she's up and ready for new clients.
