My T wears khakis and a casual long-sleeved shirt with a collar. In the summer a few times, he's worn a print Hawaiian style shirt with short sleeves. And a few times I think he's worn a T-shirt, but not often. He usually wears casual shoes and sometimes cowboy boots. A few times he has worn sandals (with socks!). These are really beat up sandals so my idea is that he doesn't really wear these to work but keeps these in his office to slip into on occasion when he wants to be more comfortable. When T has to go to a legal meeting, he wears nicer shoes and usually a sweater vest over his shirt, and it somehow all matches. Like he has one set that is green and one that is purple. Great therapist colors! And sometimes he wears a tie under the sweater vest for these meetings. I've seen him in the legal meetings and he makes a nice contrast to the more formal lawyers.

I do not dress up for session. I usually go to therapy from either work or school so I just wear whatever I have on. I am not much of a clothes horse. I own about 3 pairs of pants, 6 shirts, and 2 cardigan sweaters. I am sure T has seen all of my clothes by now. I vary the look with scarves or necklaces. I have a lot of each. T does like specific scarves or necklaces so sometimes I will choose one of his favorites.
