As hard as it is to imagine, there are people here who never seem to let it sink in. Maybe they haven't understood yet that we are real people and really do care about them, or maybe they just aren't ready yet to care about themselves even the small amount that is necessary in order to believe that they are worth caring about. But they are worth caring about all the same.
