Welcome hahalebou. I can understand that feeling of not wanting to burden others with your problems, but it may help if you think about it from your friends/family's perspective. You probably wouldn't feel like they were a burden if he or she shared their concerns with you. Don't suffer in silence.

Seeing a therapist is a great idea and my only suggestion is to be honest with him or her.
