Sounds like your dad isn't good at communicating with you.

Are you handling your own business on that or is your dad handling all your business for you? Not that that should make a difference, you should be able to see any paperwork that effects you.

Maybe your dad was busy (at least in his mind) thinking about something else & your request might have interrupted him at a bad time. Sometimes people can be rather rude when they feel they are being interrupted in the middle of something else & might not have responded that way if the timing hadn't been when it was......just a thought.

Hopefully there isn't a problem with your SS benefits that needs to be taken care of immediately....or you might need to discuss the problem with your dad so that it can be resolved.
