Fuzzy, I think the feeling of "abandonement" can trigger the feelings of disrespect and violation... speaking in "General Terms."

Only thing we can do in a public place like this, though, is to know who understands and who doesn't, who can "take care of themselves" and who can't, who WILL and who WON'T... namely who will accept RESPONSIBILITY for themselves and who won't.

We can only hope that the majority will chose to accept that responsibility and act accordingly. If some won't, then we need to stay away from their posts altogether.
