Bless your heart ~ I remember a time when I felt just as you do. I felt like I was losing touch with reality. I was afraid I was going to just plain lose it!! I talked to my doctor, who in turn referred me to a psychiatrist -- who recommended that I voluntarily commit myself to the mental ward of a hospital. I did so for 2 weeks, and that was the best thing i could have done!! I WAS having a nervous breakdown - and this way I could have it in the care of people who knew what they were doing. LOL I had daily sessions with the psychiatrist, as well as group therapy, occupational therapy, and all other kinds of stuff. They put me back on track - and gave me back my coping skills.
I think if I were you I'd seek out a counselor - you need someone to talk to who is trained in this area. After my stay in the hospital, I had counseling off and on for many years. It has helped me immensely. Perhaps it will you too -- I hope so! Best of luck and God bless. Let us know how you do. Hugs, Lee
