Years ago before there were cell phones, I had someone calling constantly with the horrible abusive phone calls.....it was just after I had my daughter & I was still in college at the time, so I was doing the school thing & was home quite a bit......this guy wouldn't stop calling. I knew that the phone calls could be traced, but also knew that the phone company wouldn't do it unless there was a police requirement for it, but I figured that person was too stupid to know that if I didn't.

Soooooo.......I answered the phone one time & he started talking. I held the phone away from my ear & spoke loudly into the mouth piece saying "Ok, you can start tracing the call now" & layed the phone down & left it.........never got another call ever like that again.

Yes, the phone company can block specific phone numbers....but you said it comes in on many different numbers. Know at that time, my only solution was to get a different unlisted number & I just didn't want to do that.....I always had a hard enough time remembering my phone number anyway....did'nt want to learn a new one.

Anyway, lucky, the one statement into the phone worked. I have always had unlisted numbers & have my phone numbers blocked for telemarketing which has been wonderful.

Hope you can come up with something that works for you so that you don't have to get a new number & can have your peace back
