Thanks, Perna. It is. That would be really strange, I'm quite glad I'm the older one in the family and didn't have to go through that...would have really sucked.

It's not that I'd "prefer" to see one or the other, it's just that I'm used to them being together and I'm still finding the separation quite difficult to accept, I think. It's easier if I'm at home rather than in England because it's closer to uni if I need to go back to visit the library and it's closer to my boyfriend and uni friends. I'll be visiting mum in June, and possibly again in September if I'm not too busy getting final year project stuff prepared.
