I'm a bit confused with the word therapist. Was it a Psychiatrist? If you didn't see a Psychiatrist that's who I would suggest trying to make an appointment with. The length of time you had to wait for an appointment is pretty average, at least where I live. As far as the cancellation I've had my Psychiatrist cancel on me before. They're humans and just like us sometimes they can miss work.

Wanting to prescribe meds within 15 minutes is quick unless you have been diagnosed already and/or your file was transferred prior to you meeting with him or her.
