Thanks! That's actually kinda what my T said to me too. She said she was proud of me for bringing it up, being honest, and talking about it. A year ago, I would have either just canceled all future sessions, or stuffed it down and not talked about it.

The cool thing about my T is she totally understands when I get stuck with thoughts that I can't seem to voice and she's willing to be patient and help me get the words out. I was stuck trying to tell her why I was so bothered about not being walked to the door, and I just couldn't form a coherant sentance. First, she told me that it's okay to "speak in rough draft." I told her I couldn't even do that, so she told me to just pick 5 of the words that were floating in my brain and say them out loud. I managed 4 words, but it was enough to let me organize my thoughts enough to talk.
