I see you already read my last post. I went looking for the poem about the Red Hat Society but couldn't find it. However, I did find Ruby. I think the purpose is to clash. LOL If I remember right, the poem says that in her later years, the elderly woman is going to do as she pleases because she's never thought of herself before because of raising a family and such. Don't quote me though. I read the poem a very long time ago.
