When I lowered my dosage of Effexor it was pretty unpleasant. Headaches and nausea, really not nice.

I agree with not stopping suddenly. I would tell you Docs that you are having unpleasant effects that you feel are associated with this med and ask for a med change that will not effect you like this. I wish you luck
