I'm so sorry about your dogs. And about the lack of help you're getting. Go higher in the law if you have to. Go over their heads.

You may not want to think about this right now, and I'm not trying to upset you, but there's another legal action you can take. You can sue for the loss of your dogs. Unfortunately, under the law, animals are seen as property, so you probably wouldn't pain and suffering or punitive damages. But you can get the value of the animals. You can also get vet bills and money paid for their care.
