Wow! That is a lot, but you did the right thing in getting the police involved. Judges can usually see right through the whole self-defense crap, especially when you have statements supporting your side. Court will probably be very short, a lot of times first time offenders (depending on where you live) are given diversion or probation. Have you and your GF taken out an order of protection against him? I would strongly recommend that! Stay safe, you did the right thing!
