This might sound a little odd, but I clap a little when I feel anxiety is about to kick in. In a class at uni, a yogi was invited to give a lecture and she said clapping might help us to "break" negative energy, so to speak. I've tried it and it works for me. I might still feel anxious sometimes but at least I don't get all panicky.
