More happy animals:

My friends have a cat that has become quite the ham, posing for attention. Last time I visited, the cat laid down on the floor between us and moved through her routine of cute poses. On back displaying tummy, roll, show off chin, flip over into another pose, waves paws then curl.......on and on.

I always get distracted by what the cat is doing and comment out loud, admiring the cat and talking to it. While I do that it lays still and manages to look even cuter.

Whenever I momentarily forget to continue to praise the cat, it amps up the cuteness more, stretches, rolls. Which always pulls my attention back and I pick up on the verbal admiration.

With all the cuteness, you would think this cat would love some petting and tummy fluffing. Not the case with this cat, move a hand and it may very well want to pounce and lightly nick it with a claw. Only when the cat is in the mood and everything is just right, will it deign to sit on its human parents and be loved up. But even they have to watch themselves.
