Don't wait years and years before going to VA ... I was scared to death of visiting the intake shrink, but she was way understanding. I went to another who evaluated me for VA disability rating. It was about as scary as the first. I don't know the results of the rating board yet.

In a few days i'll go for the first meeting with T to see how this is going to be treated. This is scary too, but I'm hoping for some relief from the ptsd as a result and everyone else tells me that it has been vry helpful.

A friend of mine just back from the wars was evaluated and rated and comes out of it with 5 grand a month. I don't know how they reached that number for disability pay, but it seems to be the case.
