Yes it really is scary and the first I thought, maybe I was having a stroke - I have a fear in the back of my mind, not wanting to suffer like she did. Now I know I would have been having other symptoms if it was a stroke. My doctor said since I was dizzy with my eyes close while laying down - it was most likely coming from the inner ear.

It seems like this was a fluke thing thank God - I dont like the feeling of not beng in control of my own body. I feel very sorry for people who suffer with this problem for a long time or chronically. What caused your vertigo?
