Hi Jennifer ~ When we end a relationship that had any length of time to it, obviously we're going to have to grieve for that loss. It's a kind of a death ~ the death of the relationship. So you'll go thru the stages of grief, much like you would if someone had died. At first there is shock, anger, depression, bargaining and acceptance. You'll probably skip the bargaining, but you'll probably go thru the others. Don't try to stifle your emotions or else they'll just turn up as something else ~ and bite you in the fanny. LOL

I know you did this for your own good ~ and even tho it hurts right now, in time you'll see that it was for the best. You weren't able to grow or to progress with him. I'm proud of you. Best of luck and just be good to yourself for awhile - pamper yourself while you're grieving. This won't hurt forever. God bless. Hugs, Lee
