What a wonderful question......hmmmmm. Q is taken can't be sure q is male or female, I'd love to be Spock, but my female emotions would most definitely get in the way.
I guess it would come down to Eve Dallas of J.D Robb's Death series, she's a tough NY homicide cop from the future who marries for love. She gets to do a job she loves and have the security of lots of money and total uncondicional love.
The other would be Miss Seeton, a retired British art teacher,by Hamilton Crane who gets requrted by Scotland yard after retirerment and accidently solving a few crimes. Shes got a lovly cottage in a village, practices yoga(it helps w/ her arthritis) and a few good friends. She is closer in age, we have art in common as well as spinisterhood. What they both have that I'd like is solving crimes, with a bit of adventer thrown in. Maybe Ellery Queen with his roadster?
