I agree with Leed--so good that you are able to understand what you needed to do, do it, and realize the place you are in. In time, the pain will pass and you will be ready for a more lasting relationship which will meet your needs better. I almost broke up with hubby #1 when we were engaged. Just because there were signs it wasn't right. Fifteen years later, when we divorced, it was with much more pain. And I lost my chance to have children forever because of that relationship. Wish now, looking back, I had had the sense and courage to do what you have done. Best wishes to you in this time of grief!
