I'm sorry to hear that you're having these problems, they are scary!

I agree with Pat...they'll go away eventually. Effexor is known to be a real pain to get off of because of this. It should be a long, slow process. Like I mentioned before, some docs will even give a few days of another drug with a longer half-life like Prozac to finish the taper.
