so my son (whos 20) and i went to the new med doctor today..my son has been "ok" the last couple of weeks...after talking to the doc for an hour he told me my son is delusional and pshycotic..and switched his meds from risperdone and tegratol to seroquel...he thinks my son his unpredictable due to the things that have happened in the past ie. angry outbursts, delusions, my son told him that in the past he has thought people could read his thoughts...my son has been "ok" at home the last few weeks, even happy the last few days, but once in the doctors office he changed...any thought on why that was or if that has happened to anyone? i asked my son and he doesnt seem to think he was different. but he def was..now that we are at home hes seems fine again.(hes recently dx bipolar btw after a severe manic episode)thanks for listening, this website has really helped me and for that i a greatful..
