The last two nights i have slept better, but it's because i implemented a fairly strict bedtime routine that involves a lot of calming techniques, and takes like 1.5 hours to complete! But hey, if it works...
lxegirl, that is exactly part of what i do at night, journalling, or more aptly named free writing, i just write write write whatever is going on inside my head at the moment, get it out on paper. I also use it during the day if i feel the need. It is definitely useful.
Thank you sjcart, for the ideas! Lately i've been using a quote from loise hay's book 'you can heal your life' - 'i approve of myself, i approve of myself, i ..' when the negativity or anxiousness creeps in and just repeat that over and over. It tends to work pretty well, allthough nothing works 100 percent of the time, so yes, there definitely needs to be other things in there too!
