There's always electrolysis, that does work with blond hair.
Also something else that i've started using is a hair removal device called Epicare, which is a spring that grabs and pulls out the facial hair a little bit like a epilator. I can highly recommend it, and once you have gone over your face once it don't hurt much after that and it's a billion times better than shaving, yuck!!
This is the one i bought, but i'm sure that there will be a US seller somewhere, also buy the original not one of the cheap copies.
