I currently take Lithium, Lamictal, Propanolol (for tremors from the Lithium) and Temazepam (sleep aid). I've taken a bunch of other meds such as Seroquel, Zyprexa and Geodon but they made me sleepy and/or didn't keep me from escalating into a bad manic attack. My doc did add Abilify to the above mix when I had a very bad anxiety attack but I had two side effects, cognitive clouding and memory loss and I went off of the Abilify. I do have an emergency pack of Abilify that my pdoc does want me to take if I get super manic so I guess we will cross the side effect bridge again if we get to it. Anything I can do to keep me out of the hospital again I will do.
