I'm so sorry for everything you've gone through and are going through. It doesn't sound like you have money to go to therapy which if you do at some point I would recommend. Would you feel comfortable going to a free support group for people dealing with depression? If so, go to the NAMI website. There are many support groups for people with depression.

I'm bipolar so I've been up and I've been very down and felt incapacitated at times. I go to a free support group that I found through NAMI and it's been really helpful to have others going through stuff like me.

A lot of people in my group do not have medical coverage. Some of them are using the County for services. I don't know where you are located, but there could be some free services there as well. I'm not 100% sure but I believe the people in my group get free medications and therapy or at a very low cost.

On another note, my mom is 73 and her aorta burst about a year and a half ago and she also had a stroke and now has to live in an assisted living facility. It is challenging to go through health struggles at such an early age. My mom definitely had depression issues for a while as well if that gives you any comfort.

Best wishes and if I can be of any additional help feel free to PM me or write here again.
Thanks for this!
