I guess the tough part is figuring out who you are. There must be more to everyone on this forum than just our depression and other issues. Are you a good listener? A hard worker? (I wish I could say that right now, but I'm a much better procrastinator. ) A good cook? Writer? Athlete? Friend?

For me, the tough part is being happy with my introversion in a world that doesn't seem to value it very much. I'm trying to turn it to my advantage. That seems to be where the whole good listener thing comes in -- not talking a lot can sometimes be a good thing, apparently.

I won't say you're guaranteed to find a huge crowd to belong to once you're true to yourself, but it's a lot of work to keep up a lie.
