Exactly. Do you have an attorney, or is this all on your own? Write down what is most important, and take the list with you. Stand your ground. Even if everyone else holds a different viewpoint than you, well, that doesn't make them correct. If you happen to be wrong (I doubt it) you can always remarry the guy later.
