Hi babycherry. Welcome! I'm sorry you're having jaw tension and pain. You might have something called TMJ (TemporoMandibular Joint Disorder)

It's quite common and it has to do with chronic inflammation of the part of your anatomy where your jaw joins with your skull. You might want to ask your doctor and/or dentist about this.

I grind my teeth badly at night, but luckily I don't have any pain (just, I'm wearing down my tooth enamel!!) My dentist fitted me for a Night Guard, which is a plastic thing that I wear on my upper teeth in bed and it has really helped protect the enamel I have left! A Night Guard is typically recommended for people with TMJ too.
