I cheated. When I got my laptop, there was a mail-in coupon for a free WebCam. Well, uh, what's a WebCam? But it said "free" so I said "OK!". Well, it's not the greatest in the world (but that may just be me not knowing how to fiddle with the settings), but I can take photos, make videos, add special effects such as roses around the pictures, and lots more. You can even see and talk to others online if you want to.
The only "catch" is you have to hook it to your laptop (or computer?) to use it. But it's very mobile and easy to get used to if you have a laptop.
And I found one for my sis at the grocery store the other day for $23!!!! It includes the CD to download the program to use it, and even has earplugs.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know!
