((((hugs)))) Being BPD is all about bad days- not bad days like "I woke up with gum in my hair" kinda days, but days where you feel like you have described. I know I feel that way all the time and sometimes there isn't anyone there to pet my hair, rub my shoulders, or engage in any comforting help...

My therapist knows this about me and has suggested that I find other ways to comfort myself. I think a lot of times Borderlines just need to be touched by someone they trust, possibly because many came from dysfunctional families where touch was never given or associated with comfort.
Anyway, some of the things I do are heat up a heating pad (I use a nifty tube sock filled with lentils and lavender)and snuggling it or putting it on my feet, or I rub a nice aromatic lotion on my skin (also good if you are feeling self destructive).

Loneliness... Doesn't matter if I am in a stadium of 5,000 people... my heart seems hollow- I assume because first I have to befriend myself before I can befriend others.

Hope you find some comfort- My love and energy go out to you.
