I too am a mom of a son 26y/o with bp. It is difficult when first diagnosed to see the real signs but over time you will be able to better predict when things are not right with your son. Most important I have found is to not be afraid to question drs. and be comfortable (both of you) with the dr. Looking back I could kick myself for sticking with psys that were not really listening to my son. Keep in mind these drugs also need time to kick in to see if they are really working. good luck with getting him the right cocktail of meds to help.
