You just got some great advice from Confused. She is spot on about talking to your doctor and telling them exactly what you are feeling. They will help you get through this with medications but you need to be seeing a therapist as well. For many of us who struggle with BP the combination of a good therapist and the right medications allows us to be much more stable to the point that we can do all of the activities of daily life that we need to do.
Like your husband, my wife cannot understand all of what I am feeling and going through but she tries. It is a constant battle to be fighting an illness when people around us don't understand. I know your sister battles this as well but in her own illness she may not be able to help you right now and that may be hard to take but it could just be where she is as well.
There are a lot of good people here who will encourage you, support you, and give you hope that you can get past this stage you are in. We have all been there and we understand.
Keep reading and learning what you can from this group and never give up.
Peace,
Mac
