I am a 40 year old woman but I feel about 8 years old right now. My mom is in ICU for some unknown as yet infection that was closing her throat off. She is on a respiraror now and will be doing tests later this morning to determine how serious the infection is.
My dad has had major heart problems and many other serious health problems since I was about 12 years old, so my mom and I are kinda old hat at dealing with that, but having her be the one seriously sick is new to my dad and me, and we are both kinda lost right now.
My anxiety ia through to roof right now.
