Thank you all so much. I was away from a computer and no cell phone signal most of the day, so hard to check in. She a little better and they finally know more about what is wrong, so hopefully now the new antibiotics will help her much quicker. She did do about half of her own breathing today for several hours, then they turned respirator back up to do most of the work again and let her rest up. She has a procedure scheduled in the morning and they are hoping ahe will be well enough to breath on her own with out the tube in her throat... I hope so to, because it terrifies me inside when she is unconsious and starts to cough and you can only see it, not hear it. It seems so unreal that all this is really happening.
