You're right farmergirl. I didn't mean it as a blanket statement, just a from my experience perspective. I've been in a number of psych wards and the ones that are just hospitals with a psychward have always been bad with activities etc. Maybe that's just southern California I don't know. Do investigate your local options. I went to Cedars Sinai once (a teaching psychiatric hospital) and that was an amazing experience. Night and day when compared to the others.
