It's definitely not fair, is it? But I think she may have a point. I mean I know that you are cutting deep. That's very dangerous.

I don't usually go around saying cutters should get help for their behaviors because I don't get help for my cutting. I refuse to see it as a problem and am quite proud of myself when I do cut, but I don't cut so deep that it's endangering my life. I believe that you are endangering yours. I mean (1) your cuts are deep and (2) you often need stitches for your cuts don't you? and (3) you've even been to the ER for your cutting.

I'm just really concerned about your welfare. I really don't care if you cut, but I do care HOW DEEP you cut. I've never had so much as a stitch when I cut...ever. So I don't see it as a danger to myself. I don't think cutting the way I do is wrong or unhealthy...I know the rest of the world disagrees but I am not putting myself in the ER!

What I'm trying to say is that you do need help and maybe seeing a T in outpatient isn't cutting it for you. Maybe you need something more.
