Hi Sky!!!

The title of your post got me thinking about this more.

I know alot of times when we act a certain way, perhaps, appearing to others that we are "stronger" then we really are because it has been a defense mechanism. When I say this, I am actually talking about myself because I have noticed that behavior in myself from a very early age.

I would train myself not to cry when I was confronted by my abuser because it was all I had and I perceived that as some type of power over him.

I am sorry if someone here is hurting you. I am sorry that your feeling hurt and please know that you are cared about here.
