I have concerns about my mother. She is very fond of wine and often when I visit her she is drinking wine. Now, I haven't noticed and drunkenness or anything in her gait, speech or behavior that I can definitely attribute to drinking so perhaps things are not as bad as I fear. It's hard to say from checking the trash since she puts the empties in her recycle container, but does not take it out to be collected until it is full which is only once a month and contains other recyclable items and not only empty bottles, but I am concerned.

Should I consider attending Al-Anon meetings? I know that there's there's one every Thursday at a nearby church.
