You might not need to see a dr for one option, depending on where you are and how they do it there, but in England you can see a family planning nurse who can prescribe birth control which sounds like it could really help you. I go straight to that idea since I hate periods and have some problems that mean it's idea that I'm on it, but it also means I can stop my periods for a couple of months perfectly safely. I hear BC can also help with the pain, doesn't for me but then again I can only take certain ones.

Also if you did see a dr they could give you some painkillers to help for just when you get period pain.

I know you're scared, but really, what is worse, going through that pain each month or just getting it over with and asking for some help and being in a better position after.
