Is there anything you really enjoy doing? Sometimes doing a small enjoyable activity helps alleviate the sadness. I know it's tough...sometimes I have to force myself to do something, but I've found once I start the downward spiral - I have to actively do something to try to make it stop. Depression tends to zap all our energy and make us lose all our motivation, if you try to counter it with something like going for a walk or exercising or doing something you enjoy, sometimes you can stop it from progressing. Hang in there!
