I was thinking about something similar, sj. TrimSpa or Nutrisystem, something to help me help myself.
However, I read/heard somewhere (of course, don't remember where) that those types of programs ultimately don't help. Part of losing weight is changing your eating and exercise habits.
If you take those changes out of the equation, while you may lose weight, eventually you are more likely to gain it all back (and sometimes more!). I need to change my eating habits, then I will lose weight (and have).
It is also important to note that you didn't get this way overnight, so it won't change over night (I've been overweight my whole life). Be gentle with yourself and allow for slips. I'm around if you ever need a diet buddy.
