Yes, but that's loneliness and a need for companionship. I think most people, at one time or another, do feel that. I know I have.

However, there are many who marry the first person that comes along - just to avoid being lonely or feeling unloved. That, imho, is validation, neediness and co-dependency. And that's probably also a big reason why the divorce rate is so high.
