I didn't know exactly where else to put this, so here it is.

My background: I am a nanny for a 6 mo little boy. I enjoy being with him and he is very cute.

My Plea: Please, please, please, if your child is sick, do not invite other children to come and play. I know that you want to have social contact with your friends and such, but please postpone. Especially when the other child is an infant. Infant's immune systems are not fully developed and so they are very susceptible to getting sick. Then especially since they have such close contact with others (being carried around by mom/dad/nanny etc.) and there is no way to tell them to cover their mouths when they cough, they are going to pass it on. I can't count the number of times in the last week that the child I nanny for has coughed in my face. And now I am sick. Mom and grandma have also been sick.

Please don't invite other children over when yours is sick, you aren't only possibly making that child sick, but everyone who takes care of that child.

End Rant
Thanks for reading.
Thanks for this!
