I've been at my job about 3.5 months now. It's really boring and not much in my area of expertise, but some of the people are nice and it pays well. I'd leave it if I had another option, but I don't at the moment. I got an "invitation" to go to a job fair at a big company with a good reputation. I don't know if it's like a real invitation, such that it's true that they "think I might be a good fit", or if they just sent it to everyone who ever applied there.

So my question is, should I go?
Reasons not to:
- Being rejected from a job is what set off my last big depressive episode
- I should try and stay in one place for a while, even if it's not a great place.

Reasons to go:
- I might finally find a job I really love, which would improve my life so much.

I guess i'm really scared to get rejected again, and crash again. I got rejected for a postdoc recently that I didn't even think I cared about, and it upset me.
