Just because they have been to Europe doesn't mean they have a good idea about how it is to live there. There are some things in some countries that make more sense and seem to work better than what is offered here in the states. But that's going to happen no matter where you go. It certainly doesn't mean that the country is better than the US in the grand scheme of things.

I understand why you lost it with them but let me tell ya, you are waisting your time and breath on people who don't care what you think and won't change their minds no matter how right you may be. I actually feel sorry for these kinds of folks as they truly are unhappy people and haven't got a clue what it means to be happy. Those are the "grass is always greener" folks.

Maybe the next time you see them in class you can look at them with pity in your eyes (saying absolutely nothing to them), kind of shake your head and sigh too. It's really a shame that they can't seem to see the forest for the trees, but at least you have clearer vision than they do. Don't let them get you down hon....just go about your life feeling good about yourself and to heck with them!
