(((Roses)))) I'm here to reassure you that you're not alone in feeling anxious about how people are going to respond to something you've posted. I am so glad you're back here!
I find myself with this anxiety, too, sometimes. Since I've been here a couple of my "friends" have evidently taken offense about something and taken me off their lists. I'm sad about it, but you know what? I figure that's their problem. I didn't intend to upset them--and neither one of them ever told me what the problem was, so we could work it out. Most all of us here have some sort of mental issues, so we aren't always going to be able to deal with things that "normal" people do. In the meantime, I've gotten a whole bunch of other friends. LIFE GOES ON! I've survived what I consider to be a "worst case scenario"!
I really don't "know" these people on PC. I have many folks I really consider dear, and I'm really glad I've met them on PC, but they aren't "real" in my life. (My therapist has talked to me about this issue, as you might tell!) They "live" in my computer. I don't want to lose them, but I try to keep my world in perspective.
That said, as I believe Pegasus indicated (now she's a special lady), I have had no problems with people here. Yes, we don't always agree on everything on PC, but that's okay. We all are free to share our opinions, with the hope in mind that what we are saying is useful/helpful. That's one of the rules for being on here......
Oh, dear, now I am struggling with worrying that I have offended someone. But, I didn't intend to, if I did. Send me a PM if I have hurt anyone's feelings. (A kind one, please.) I am not perfect. For one thing, I have memory problems, and I have been known to forget something that a person has shared or to mix people up.
Roses, you're a nice person. I can tell that! Otherwise, you wouldn't be concerned at all. Drop me a message if you'd like any time. PC is a wonderful place, and we can pick and choose what we get involved in. This is only my second post, if I recall correctly, in the anxiety forum. I normally stick to "social chat" and social groups and other such things. Maybe I should keep doing that!
